February 19, 2016, two days before his eighteenth birthday, Darnel Saupo Apelu received his mission call from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to serve the wonderful people of the Papua New Guinea beginning July 13, 2016. What an amazing turn of events that night took in our lives.
I've set this blog up in order to follow the adventures of Darnel while serving the people of PNG. His official mission doesn't begin until he enters the Missionary Training Center (MTC) on July 13th, however, until that time I will be updating this blog with information about PNG, information about officially serving as a Missionary in PNG, and his time preparing until he departs.
